Six-Year Survival and Early Failure Rate of 2918 Implants with Hydrophobic and Hydrophilic Enossal Surfaces

This study highlights the reliability of the Thommen Medical Dental System and its both implant surfaces: the superhydrophilic INICELL® surface and the standard unconditioned surface. In total 2918 implants were assessed. According to the authors, both implant surfaces achieved very good clinical outcome. The use of superhydrophilic implants allows the clinician to obtain less early failures, hence the interest of an up-to-date surface for the daily work of an implant practice.
