An EFP workshop focused on periodontology and family doctors will take place in Madrid on July 10-11 to draw up a consensus on the latest evidence on associations between periodontitis and systemic diseases and to come up with recommendations for family doctors and dentists.
The second Perio Talks podcast will soon be available, featuring Mariano Sanz (Complutense Univeristy of Madrid) and Anton Sculean (University of Bern) who consider advances made in regeneration in recent years and the biological knowledge and surgical skills needed by clinicians to perform bone regeneration successfully rather than extract and replace teeth.
