POLREC: Networking Call 2025

POLREC Networking Open Call provides financial support to European SMEs working in the field of polymers & elastomers industries. Up to 40 applicants will obtain support on the attendance to European business/ trade fairs, conferences, exhibitions and events for a maximum budget of 1.500€ per SME within Europe and a maximum budget of 2.500€ per SME for oversea events.

The call will open from 15th of January until march 14th 2025

The POLREC project is a collaborative project between the 4 European clusters and a technological centre:  Polymeris (coordinator), CENTIMFECluster MavWirtschaftsförderung Raum Heilbronn, and Plast Center Danmark/DMN. It aims to support SMEs in recycling their high and low value polymers waste, develop value-chains interlinkage with other European SMEs and exploit international business opportunities linked to polymer recycling.

During the 3 years-period the project plan to support up to 250 SMEs through financial support to third parties and dedicated services to encourage the adoption of recycling technologies, train the SMEs’ workforce on those new technologies and enable them to participate in international trade fair and matchmaking events.

We would like to invite SMEs from plastics, rubbers and composites industries to facilitate their internationalisation strategy and connect to new markets outside their national scope through the attendance and participation of business/trade fairs, exhibitions, conventions and conferences. This is imminent to broaden their European network and to find out about market requirements in different countries. New suppliers for procurement options can be found as well as new sales markets explored. This means that new value chains within Europe can be developed.

The POLREC Open Call offers funding as follows:

The attendance to business/trade fairs & exhibitions

The attendance to conferences, conventions and forums

To be selected for funding the SMEs should send in the date, venue, link to the event and a reason for attending. The events should take place in 2025 until lates mid July 2025. The amount of the financial support to be distributed to a given SME will be defined based on quotation from the service provider for the participation to an event.
